Transportation
You can fly into Perugia, Rome, or Florence....and get airport transportation to the Poggiolo. The closest airport would be Perugia. It is also possible to fly into places such as London, France, Germany and then take a RyanAir flight to Perugia. There are so many options that it gets a bit confusing and overwhelming deciding which flight works best. Please call us for more information on the flights that we found to be the shortest and least expensive.

Property Description
We will be living in Italy in the Umbrian Region for the year of 2009. We have found a farmhouse that has recently been renovated into 3 apartments. We will take the upstairs apartment and renting out the 2 apartments on the first floor.
The property is called "The Poggiolo" which translates into "house with view of rolling meadows". It is situated between a wine vineyard and an olive grove with breathtaking views of the rolling hillside.
The Poggiolo is situated just south of Perugia, outside the medieval hillside town of Todi. Todi is located in the Umbrian Region which borders the south side of the Tuscany. It is a 2-hour drive to Rome, Florence, and both coastlines.....very centrally located.
- You will have access to the in-ground pool on the property during the months of May through September.
- There is also a wood-burning stove that is used for baking your bread and pizza. You are welcome to use this at your leisure.
- A washing machine is located in an outside building. There is not a clothes dryer, so I guess we will have to rough it and hang our clothes out to dry.
- We also have this property listed on www.homeexchange.com and would consider trading homes with you if you would rather do an exchange instead of renting. The only type of exchange we would be able to accommodate would be a non-simultaneous exchange.

RENTAL OPTIONS
Apartment #1
This is a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, small kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom and is fully furnished.
We would like to rent the one-bedroom apartment as a long-term rental for the entire year of 2009. We would be willing to divide it up into two 6-month stints. We are flexible and are open for creative rental options.
The one-bedroom rents for $750 USD/mo. With utilities included. Utilities are included in the rental price with the exception of December, January and February. During these 3 months, an additional $150/mo utility charge will be assessed to cover the increased cost of fuel.
Apartment #2
This is a 2-bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and a bath and is fully furnished.
We are renting this apartment in one-month increments for $1,000 USD per month.
Utilities are included in the rental price with the exception of December, January and February. During these 3 months, an additional $200 utility charge will be assessed to cover the increased cost of fuel.
